Ever since the program ended, I've missed having intense doses of financial education every day. I watch financial videos all the time, try to keep up with the markets and read the media like you suggested--and I've been reading one of the books you recommended; it is very insightful and inspiring. I now have the market knowledge and awareness of what it takes to stay on top of my game

Today was intense! Let me see, lessons for today were on Currency Carry Trades, what shorting and longs are, writing costs (the basis for vocal agreements), cyclical versus seasonal sales changes, ‘pari passu,’ ‘ringfencing,’ Restriction versus Affirmative Covenants, waivers and fees, Trading at Option value and penny stocks, bond ratings: Investment grade versus Junk Bonds, what buying volatilities and shorting volatilities mean, the different trading methods (backtesting, long-term trend finding, and systems trading), some of the major M&A transactions (AOL/Time Warner, JP Morgan/Chase – Merge of Equals), the types of mergers (horizontal, vertical and conglomerate), Examples of restructurings in M&A (Spin-Offs, Equity Carve-Outs, Divestitures, LBOs, Leveraged Recapitilizations, and what they are)… and so much more I’m running out of time to write…
